Hardik Pandya rested for Sri Lankan Test Series

Hardik Pandya the Indian all-rounder has been rested from the Sri Lanka Test series, which is due to start on November 16. Although, Pandya was in the 16 member squad that announced earlier in October.

While the decision came after the team management made a reservation about Pandya's workload. As the all-rounder was part of all limited overs and Tests since Champions Trophy in June.

Pandya made his Test debut against Sri Lanka in Gallie, in the first test of the 3-match Series and was part of the all 3 Tests on the Island.

Pandya was rested not just considering his workload in the past, but also considering the future away tours, where the all-rounder has to play a bigger role. However, there isn't any replacement made in the squad.
