Wade and Warner started the banter with Shreyer Iyer

Shreyer Iyer the Mumbai batsmen showed the glitz of shot making against Australia in one of the tour game on day 2 with smashing 85 runs which included 7 boundaries and 5 maximum's opened on his form and ambitions alongside the ongoing banter with Aussies.
Iyer the prolific run-getter for past two seasons in Ranji Trophy has gone through a lean patch in this season with his standards, but it seemed like he has found his groove in the ongoing warm-up match said he will get the chance to represent India on one Day.
"I don't think much on that, I try to play and score as many runs as possible. The side is packed (at present), but I know I will get a chance definitely to play for the country," said Iyer to PTI.
Iyer smacked sixes with lofted shots against both Lyon and O'keefe said,"I am happy they were not predetermined shots. It was important to take charge early and spread out the field. It worked out well.”
Iyer added,"They are very good, especially Lyon, they don't give much flight. They are a lot better than the spinners (I faced) of Bangladesh. I had to come down the track to hit the big shots.”
It is said that you can't keep the monkey quiet for a long time and it is so with Aussies regarding sledging, Where the opening batsmen revealed the sledging that gone through the game, where the wicketkeeper Wade first started and followed by the vice Captain David Warner.
“They started to sledge and said 'this guy does not have a defence, he can play only attacking shots'. It was first Wade and then Warner too joined in. But I am used to this type of sledging, having toured Australia with India A teams in the past,” said Iyer.
