Bangalore and Gujarat Seek easy road in to Final

It’s playoffs time in IPL, as Top.2 teams gear up for qualifier 1 to make easy roads in to the finals. Both sides had a contrast season in terms of wins and losses early on, and in the second part of the group stage as well. But now both sides are in a safe point as a win takes them in to final and loss gives them another chance, as Gujarat Lions face on Royal Challengers Bangalore at Chinnaswamy on Tuesday.
Gujarat Lions top order made flying starts in the beginning and made life easy for the middle order batsmen, but in the later stages the starts started to disappear and middle and lower order struggled to find some sort of form.  Those losses and close wins at the start made them to face virtual knockouts, where the middle order and reliable bowlers taken them to top the table.
While with both wins in last couple of games Lions are coming with some sort of momentum, where Raina found his grooves after a little break and Bravo’s economical spell made things easy. Although top order yet  to find their lost form and lot depends on them for a crucial contest against formidable Bangalore lineup.
On the other hand Bangalore hadn’t had best of the beginning in the first half, but the batting stood as an unbreakable wall with more matches, where Virat  stood as an example with record breaking runs and Tons in IPL history. Although the lite’s of consistent ABD and Rahul were over shadowed by the run machine and Gayle’s form of late even made things tough for oppositions.
But with the situation where every game as been a knockout contest bowlers found their grooves with impressive spells as unit, where Chahal and Watson had led the attack in crunch situations. While Bangalore too coming with momentum on the back with 4 wins in a row and they couldn't ask for a better venue than Bangalore.
The pitch at Bangalore is full of runs and expected to stay the same on Tuesday with some assistance for spinners, although spinners should be aware of small boundaries.
Meanwhile both sides won a game a piece in the group stage against each other at their respective home venues, while Virat scored two Tons in each of the game.
So it's not going to be easy for Gujarat to face on Bangalore at their home given the form they are in against them, but Bangalore can't be overwhelmed with consecutive wins they should be aware of that rough patch round the corner. At end it's all about damage control with the ball at Chinnaswamy.
