Visitors Look To Counter Spin

The freedom series now moves on to the longer format which will be altogether a new challenge for both the  teams. India look to show their skill to the full potential under the passionately aggressive captain, the batting looks more competitive in this format with addition of Vijay, Pujara and Rahul.
Mean while South Africa has to handle more spin compared with that of Odis, their batting heavily depends on lites of Duplese and Devilers. Amla's form will be crucial for the visitors moving in to the tests as a player and also as a captain to lead from the front.
Duminy's injury remains a concern for the Proteas as he adds an bowling option to the team in these conditions, not only facing spin but also bowling spin well will determine the result.
Although pace attack look formidable with Steyn, Morkel and Phillander, Spin will crucial for the tests. The focus will be on Tahir who is inconsistent in the longer format if the game, where spin will come more in to play as day progress in the match.
With the return of Ashwin to the test side the spin Department looks strong enough to attack the Protea batsmen, absence of ishanth for the first test will make a way for Aron. The pace department where the visitors attack on the hosts both with the  bat and ball.
Although virat has fine batsmen in the team the squad composition is more challenging to his captaincy , while Amla has to do work with the bat to lift the spirits up of his own and also to keep the team spirit up as the series progress.
