England in the purpose of clinging the Series have broken few records individual one's and at the same time teams. It all happened at Trent Bridge when Pakistan fielders showed signs of indiscipline in the field, where the Hosts capitalised on those and added another dimension to their limited overs team. Now their is nothing about in contention to stay alive for the visitors and not any more England has to prove they are a better side.
But it's about extending their ruthlessness by targeting on next two ODI’s and at the same a good time for them to give a go to the players waiting for their chance, which can keep regulars fresh enough by giving some rest. On the other hand Pakistan has to show a performance that can lift their spirits up especially with the bat and in the field.
Arthur might be thinking there are much more problems to be resolved then he had thought, but moving the mistakes aside in this series Pakistan has found few positives too for the longer picture. Where Hasan Ali showed he can trouble the batsmen with his nagging pace and Nawaz ,and Imad knocks down the order shows that they can have batting depth. While it might be time for Malik to score a big knock or else there might be ringing bells for his Career.
Meanwhile with the Series dusted it's time for the hosts to look on the big picture to have a clean sweep and Pakistan have nothing to lose, so it's time for them to perform out of their comfort zone. Both sides likely to make few changes, as one looking to extend and the other seeking to start.
The 4th ODI at Headingley is likely to produce another run fest, but may not match with the previous records fashion as it did at Trent Bridge. Where the hosts won last four matches at this Venue against different appositions.
So it's time for Pakistan to show some sort of fight back with less pressure on offer, but it all depends on how they manage to keep up the fielding standards and if their is an area for hosts to improve it would be fielding. Where it's unaffected due to more sloppy fielding from Pakistan, at the end the contest lies on how visitors stop hosts from scoring.
