Both teams would have been quite disappointed with the way the 2nd ODI ruined by rain, now they move on to Auckland to make the stats look goood for either sides.
Kiwis likely to continue their prolific form in their home backyard and hope to be fresh enough for the series against Australia in the next month. On the other face of the coin Pakistan look for some pride in leveling the series in the ground where they had some success in this series and in the past.
Shoaib who missed the 1st ODI likely to feature at Auckland, his presence will strengthen the middle order and also their spinning vow's. Meanwhile Brendon McCallum hopefully to come back to the side if he is fit enough to play.
Although both teams struggled a bit with the bat in Wellington, they hope for a better performance from their players. The lively pitch at Auckland will test the batsmen and with shorter boundaries it's important to set the fields accordingly.
It's important for the Pakistan team to have a win under their belt while leaving New Zealand, but it will be hard to beat the red hot Kiwis. They need to come on top both with the bat and ball in leveling the series.
